GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE HOME CHEF

Today’s gift guide is one of my personal favorites – a gift guide for the home chef! Anyone who is passionate about cooking would love to receive one of these kitchen related gifts. If you know someone who is always whipping up a new recipe or who you’ve tried to talk into auditioning for Chopped Home Cooks Edition because their cooking is just *that* good, take a look at the gift guide below for my gift ideas for the home chef!

Gift Ideas for the Home Chef

Bistro Marble Salt Cellar – $15

If you’re looking for a gift your favorite home chef will use every day, get them a pretty salt cellar! I honestly don’t know how anyone cooks without a salt one – I use mine every single time I cook! I adore the beautiful marble and the cute little handle on this one.

Acacia Wood Spatula – $18

In my opinion, quality kitchen tools are such an underrated gift for anyone who loves cooking. This acacia wood spatula will be gentle on their nonstick pans and look beautiful displayed in a crock next to their stove.

Classic 6″ Chef’s Knife – $70

You can never go wrong with a classic chef’s knife, and this one is my current favorite. It has a lightweight design and the sharp blade makes chopping a breeze.

Fable Little Bowls – $49

Every home chef needs a set of little bowls for mixing sauces, dressings, and more! I’ve heard great things about Fable, and these little bowls would be the perfect ones to gift.

Brightland Oil & Vinegar Set – $70

Anyone who’s serious about cooking probably feels strongly about using quality olive oil (extra virgin, always). Your favorite home chef will love this set of high-end oils and vinegars!

Le Creuset Signature 5.5 Qt Dutch Oven – $420

If you’re looking to splurge on a gift for your favorite home chef, gift them the holy grail of kitchen products – a Le Creuset Dutch Oven. These are the highest quality and they’re truly built to last. I’m a sucker for the cream one with gold accents, but there are tons of color options!

Polished Brass Recipe Box – $70

I think this is the most beautiful recipe box I’ve ever seen! Gift them a stylish way to store their family recipes and they’ll think of you every time they pull out a recipe card.

Stoneware Berry Bowl – $18

Ever since I first purchased a berry bowl over the summer, I’ve been shocked at how often I use it. My favorite use for it is actually draining and rinsing beans – it perfectly fits a can of beans so I can rinse them quickly and efficiently. I love this one because it’s the perfect size and the stoneware finish gives it a bit of character!

Peugeot Pepper Mill – $75

Skip the aesthetic pepper mills and go for the best of the best – Peugeot pepper mills are both beautiful and functional. They’ll love how smoothly this grinds pepper, and it will look great sitting our on their counter!

Joseph Joseph 5-in-1 Tool – $10

This 5-in-1 tool can be used as a spoon, slotted spoon, cutting tool, rubber scraper, and spatula. It’s forever my favorite kitchen tool and it’s a steal at just $10. I actually have two of them because I use it so frequently. They’ll be obsessed from the first time they use it!

Garlic Grater & Dipping Dish – $16

This is one of those kitchen products that I didn’t know I needed until I had it. This handy little dish grates garlic and can also be used as a dipping dish for garlic infused olive oil if they’re feeling fancy. It’s even dishwasher safe!

Walnut Cookbook Holder – $50

As someone who uses cookbooks quite often, I can tell you that keeping them open to the recipe I want to use is often a struggle. I love keeping a cookbook holder in my kitchen – it makes it easier to follow recipes when I’m cooking, and when I’m not cooking, I keep a pretty cookbook displayed in it. The walnut wood on this one would be a beautiful addition to any kitchen!

Truffle Mini Trio Set – $34

As someone who loves cooking *and* food, I always love receiving fun food-related gift sets like this. Your favorite home chef might not splurge on something like this for themselves, but they’d definitely enjoy getting it as a gift!

Wilder Low Bowl – $15

If you know someone who loves cooking but probably has every kitchen tool they could need, gift them a set of pretty pasta bowls! I actually purchased these after eating at a restaurant that used them, and I couldn’t love them more. They make every meal look beautiful.

“The Tucci Table” Cookbook – $19

Everyone I know who’s passionate about cooking has an arsenal of tried and true cookbooks, so why not gift them an addition to their collection? Stanley Tucci’s cookbook is one of my favorites – it’s filled with simple but delicious recipes that anyone would love.
